About the event

A Journey to Leadership tour is an unforgettable 5-day, 4-night travel experience designed specifically for young entrepreneurs. This enriching journey is an opportunity for high school students aged 14-18 to explore new horizons, foster leadership skills, and build lasting friendships—all while enjoying a comfortable and safe travel experience.  

Package Inclusions: 

  • Transportation: Our group will travel in comfort with round-trip transportation via charter bus or air travel, ensuring a smooth and safe journey to our destination city. 
  • Accommodation: Students will stay in comfortable, youth-friendly hotels, providing a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation and camaraderie after a day of exploration. 
  • Meals: Students will enjoy three delicious and nutritious meals daily, carefully curated to fuel every adventure and keep students energized throughout our trip.

Proposed Itinerary: 

  • Day 1:  Arrival and Welcome Dinner - Our group will settle in at our hotel, students will meet fellow travelers, and kick off the journey with a welcoming dinner where we’ll share more about the exciting days ahead. 
  • Day 2: City Exploration & Leadership Workshop - Our young leaders will discover the local culture with guided tours and participate in a hands-on leadership workshop designed to ignite their potential as a future leader.  
  • Day 3: Community Service Project & Business Headquarters Visit - We will give back to the community we are visiting, with a meaningful service project, allowing students to engage with local residents and understand the impact of their contributions. Later in the day, we’ll take an exclusive tour of the headquarters of a successful local business that has made a significant impact in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics. Students will engage directly with the leadership team, gaining insights into their journey from a simple idea to a multimillion-dollar corporation. Students will participate in a Q&A session, where students can ask questions and learn firsthand about entrepreneurship, innovation, and the challenges and triumphs of building a successful business.  
  • Day 4: Adventure & Team-Building Activities - Our group will experience thrilling activities that promote teamwork and collaboration, and strengthen bonds among their peers.  
  • Day 5: Reflection & Departure - We’ll spend the morning reflecting on our experiences, sharing insight within the group, and prepare for our journey home.

Our package includes: Roundtrip Airfare from departing location, Ground Transportation in destination city, Comfortable Hotel Accommodations (1 bed per student), Three Meals Daily, Exclusive Tour of the Headquarters of a Successful Local Business, Qualified Chaperones (1:15 ratio), a Mandatory Parent and Student Orientation and all activities listed in proposed itinerary.
  3. How often do you offer Journey to Leadership tours? We offer a Journey to Leadership tours each summer, typically during the second week of June. We also offer Custom Tour options for schools or organizations that wish to provide a Leadership Tour for 10 or more scholars. Our custom tours allow your scholars the unique opportunity to explore new horizons, foster leadership skills, and build lasting friendships—all while enjoying a comfortable and safe travel experience. We focus on all of the tour arrangements and details, so that you can focus on the impact and experience.   4. Can parents attend the tour? While we encourage parental involvement, we highly recommend that parents consider traveling as chaperones to allow your child to have a "real-life" exposure trip, mirroring what life will be like as an entrepreneur. Parents with an interest to join the tour should be prepared for a hands-off experience during the tour to ensure your child gains the most from this opportunity. *Kindly note that all adults interested in attending the tour as chaperones must undergo a background check and interview process.

A Journey to Leadership tours will visit the headquarters of businesses such as Google Headquarters in Mountain View, CA, Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond, WA, Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, CA, and so much more. Our tour will explore 1 - 2 businesses per tour and engage in community service projects and team building activites. We believe this exploration tour will not only enhance student's understanding of entrepreneurship but will also help them to make informed decisions about starting and/or growing their own business.
